Can spinal manipulation help me??
You don't need to be injured or in significant pain to benefit from treatment. Sometimes it's stiffness. Sometimes an area simply doesn't feel as mobile as it normally does. Sometimes movement or training highlights a restriction that you want to address.
Spinal manipulation may be useful as part of your treatment where joint movement appears restricted and improving mobility could help you move more comfortably.
Spinal manipulation may be useful if you:
Feel stiff or restricted through your back or neck
Notice reduced movement or mobility
Feel restricted when rotating, bending or extending
Experience stiffness following training or physical activity
Spend long periods sitting or working in one position
Feel that restricted movement is affecting your training or everyday activity
Want to improve comfortable movement as part of your recovery
Have already tried stretching but still feel restricted
It Starts With You — Not the Treatment
Your session starts with understanding what you're experiencing, how you move, what feels restricted and what you want to get back to or improve.
From there, I'll use the approach that's right for you. Spinal manipulation isn't automatically part of a session and isn't something everyone needs. Where appropriate, it can be combined with sports massage, other hands-on techniques, movement work and practical advice.
